Disclosure: This site is run by Pro Products and More, which also makes and sells robot mower blade packs on Amazon and at robotmoweraccessories.com. Some packs mentioned here are ours, and we earn money when you buy them. Fit information for them is the seller’s claim, not a mower-maker approval. Full disclosure.
Robot mower blades FAQ
Which robot mower blades fit my mower?
Start with your mower brand and model. The safest choice is the blade your mower maker sells for it. Third-party packs publish compatibility lists that are the seller’s claims, so compare length, center hole, thickness and screw with your current blade. See our brand fit guides.
How often should I replace robot mower blades?
Maker guidance varies: Husqvarna says main-disc blades typically last 3 to 6 weeks, Segway says every 80 working hours on some Navimow models, and Mammotion says flip at 50 hours and replace at 150 hours. See how often to replace robot mower blades.
Is this site independent?
No. It is run by Pro Products and More, which sells robot mower blades on Amazon. We say so on every page. The guides cite the mower makers’ own instructions where we can.
Are third-party robot mower blades as good as original ones?
We have not tested them against original blades and cannot say. Original blades are made for your model and the maker stands behind them. Third-party packs cost less per blade and publish compatibility lists that are the seller’s claims. Husqvarna says to use only original Husqvarna blades and screws.
What should I check before buying aftermarket blades?
Blade length and width, the number and size of center holes, blade thickness, whether screws are included, and whether the blade is made for a single-disc or multi-disc mower. Then compare with your current blade.
Do I need special tools?
Usually a cross-tip or flat screwdriver, gloves and a soft brush. A magnetic screwdriver helps. Check your manual.
Should I replace the screws?
Husqvarna says yes, every time. Reused screws can let blades come loose.
What are signs blades are dull?
Frayed or whitened grass tips after mowing, uneven cuts, and visible wear or damage on the blades (Husqvarna).
Does lawn type change wear?
Yes. Husqvarna lists mowing frequency, lawn size, grass type, seasonal growth, soil and fertilizer, and obstacles like stones and roots.
Do robot mowers need a garage?
Not always. A garage can shelter the mower and charger from sun, rain and debris, and from snow in some climates. Check your mower maker’s guidance.
Will a garage block the GPS or RTK signal?
It can, depending on your mower. Check your maker’s instructions on where the mower and any antenna or reference station should sit.
How big should a robot mower garage be?
Measure your mower’s length, width and height, then add space for the charger and a few inches of clearance. Check the dock, too.
Which robot mowers do your 30-packs list?
See the fit guides. Compatibility is the seller’s claim.
Where can I buy these?
On Amazon. Each fit guide has links, and the store is robotmoweraccessories.com.
